2nd Grade Matisse
The Second Grade has been working on a Unit about Henri Matisse. We studied some of his still lifes which included fish bowls. We discussed how to draw a fish and all the different details we could include to make texture like scales and fins in order to make their fish look more realistic. We also added other textures in the bottoms of the fish bowls and in the backgrounds of our water color paintings. We got to experiment with some really cool metallic water colors!
