Lines That Wiggle
PreK and Kindergarten have been learning about different kinds of lines the first several weeks of school. I love to use the book "Lines That Wiggle" by Candace Whitman to teach line lessons. PreK made a collage that goes with the line monster on the cover of the book and I love how different the expressions turned out!
I changed up Kindergarten's first project of the year giving students the option to add a face to their rainbow line paintings in order to turn it into a line monster. Not every class had time to do this, but the ones who did turned out really cute!
