Emojin the Possibilities
5th Grade students started their first project of the year learning about the ancient tradition of paper quilling. They compared the tradition of decorating scrolls and sacred books to more contemporary paper quilling artist styles. They used the technique to create their own modern day spin of the craft by making their own emoji.
